The Ocular Melanoma Foundation was
founded in 2003 by Dr. Robert C. Allen to increase awareness, enhance education and
research, and provide advocacy among both patients and health care
professionals regarding this rare but potentially lethal disease.

It is our goal that this site
provide patient information, up-to-date research, and enable communication/discourse between
and among patients and
practitioners.
Of course, the development of OMF is organic
and we look to the future with optimism with regards to both OMF as
a mouthpiece for ocular melanoma and the curative potential of treatments
and protocols now being researched and tested.
OMF operates as a not-for-profit
501(c)3 corporation.
